WHAT IS DELTA 8?
Delta 8 THC is a form of tetrahydrocannabinol that has been the talk of the town by both younger and older people alike.
Although Delta 8 THC is different from Delta 9 THC, it should not be taken lightly. The effects from using Delta 8 THC can include uplifting feelings, dry mouth, sedation, sleepiness and so on. Delta 8 THC effects have been considered to be lighter than Delta 9 THC when utilizing them as an edible, however, the effects have been said to last much longer.
what is CBN & CBN-O?
CBN is a non-intoxicating compound that is best known as the cannabinoid created when THC ages. For that reason, it’s usually present in high amounts in older cannabis. While this might be a turn-off for some, others seek out older cannabis just to enjoy the calming sedative effects of CBN.
CBN when combined with THC creates the “sedative” effect alot of our customers look for. Cannabinol (CBN) is also known as Cannabinol-C5, with the major distinction from Cannabinol-C1 (CBN-O) being a change in the phenol group attachment. In short, this difference means that CBN-O is more potent than CBN, but maintains a similar effect profile. It’s not yet quantitatively known how CBN-O compares to CBN in terms of receptor affinity, but it’s reported to be several times more potent.
CBN-O has a more intoxicating and psychoactive effect than CBN. Due to the higher potency, it’s important to start low with CBN-O until you know how it will affect you. Higher potency cannabinoids such as CBN-O mean that most people are able to use less to achieve a similar effect.
